Custom User Interface for Police Squad Car
Client's Challenge:
A Tier One supplier was developing a Windows-based system for police squad cars. Because the standard Windows user interface would not be suitable for this application, a highly customized interface was needed. To support the needs of different law enforcement agencies, the interface also needed to be configurable.

Logikos' Solution:
Logikos developed custom UI controls and application components using ActiveX and COM. The specific configuration and layout of the UI can be defined using XML, so that the actual interface is dynamically created when the system starts. This allows the application to be tailored to each agency (or even to specific vehicles) without changing application code.
