Logikos, Fort Wayne. Chances are you've come across Logikos software if you've paid at the gas pump, made a call from an airplane or used those nifty directional devices inside new cars. Its engineering and project-management staff develops software for real-time embedded, desktop, handheld, and Internet-based technologies; they simply make their customer's products primarily automotive and medical smarter. Joanne Renselle, chairwoman, cofounded the company in her living room more than 25 years ago. Now its 39 employees, mostly engineers, work to make Fortune 500 companies' ideas come true.
